The 04 and 4141 by night Passengers start to arrive Not a very good pic at all, it blurred! but included as it was the first pic of 2007, taken just a few minutes past midnight. Fireworks can be seen in the distance The motive power for the evening 8F 48305 04 and 4141 by day With the kind invitation of a GCR fireman I was invited aboard the 8F for a round trip to Leicester North. Unfortunately on the return run she lost a beat and was failed upon arrival at Loughborough with broken valve rings. Thank you for the kind gesture. The loco was repaired and running again the following weekend.
